At Protek Security, we’re specialists in the Security and Fire industry based in Marchwood, Southampton. Due to continued growth we’re on the lookout for ambitious and hardworking individual to join our team.

Your role:

As a multi-skilled security and fire engineer, you’ll take on a key role.

This involves installing, servicing and maintaining the following across commercial, industrial and domestic sites:

• Fire alarms
• CCTV systems
• access control systems
• automated gates & barriers

Job Description:

• Install, service, repair and maintain systems from brands like Dahua, Texecom & Paxton.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring the highest quality of work from start to finish.
• Provide support to team members and have the chance to lead as we continue growing.
• Field-based role covering Southampton, New Forest, Bournemouth and surrounding areas.
• Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm but start times and finish times can vary occasionally.

About you:

We’re looking for someone who’s as passionate about what they do as we are. If you tick most of the following boxes, we’d love to hear from you:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in the Fire & Security industry.
• Knowledge of a range of manufacturers & solid technical understanding.
• IT literate, with a strong grasp of app technology.
• Reliable, punctual, & committed to high standards.
• Experience working on commercial, industrial & domestic projects.
• Great at troubleshooting & problem-solving.
• Good customer service experience
• A full UK driving licence.
