Vacancy: Security & Fire Engineer - Multiskilled

At Protek Security, we’re specialists in the Security & Fire industry based in Marchwood, Southampton. Due to continued growth we’re on the lookout for ambitious & hardworking individual to join our team.
Your role:
As a Multi-skilled Security & Fire Engineer, you’ll take on a key role in installing, servicing, and maintaining fire alarms, CCTV, access control systems, automated gates, and barriers across commercial, industrial, and domestic sites.
Here’s what you’ll do:
- Install, service, repair, and maintain systems from brands like Dahua, Texecom & Paxton.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring the highest quality of work from start to finish.
- Provide support to team members and have the chance to lead as we continue growing.
- Field-based role covering Southampton, New Forest, Bournemouth, and surrounding areas.
- Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm but start times and finish times can vary occasionally.
About you:
We’re looking for someone who’s as passionate about what they do as we are. If you tick most of the following boxes, we’d love to hear from you:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in the Fire & Security industry.
- Knowledge of a range of manufacturers and solid technical understanding.
- A full UK driving licence.
- IT literate, with a strong grasp of app technology.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to high standards.
- Experience working on commercial, industrial, and domestic projects.
- Great at troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Good customer service experience
